A witness told cops at 2pm today that the man fell from the skylight of a car park in the central Palma.

Tourists staying at the nearby hotel caught a glimpse of the horror plunge.

Paramedics raced to the scene but were unable to save the man who plunged from the building.

He was taken to Hospital Universitari Son Espases.

Police confirmed this evening that the dead man was a British national.

A well-placed source said his death was not being treated as suspicious at this stage but investigators were still awaiting autopsy results.

It follows a string of tragic deaths involving British tourists dying abroad.

On Tuesday night, a British girl was rushed to hospital “seriously injured” from a first floor property in Majorca.

The 15-year-old girl was stabilised at the scene before she was seen at Son Espases Hospital in capital city Palma.

The incident happened in Sant Llorenc des Cardassar near the Love Island villa in northeastern Majorca.

A code red was activated because the youngster’s injuries were so bad.

Last month, a Scot teen died in the early hours of August 20 after falling from a sixth floor hotel balcony in Ibiza.

Emma Ramsay, 19, from Hamilton, was holidaying with pals in famed party resort San Antonio.

The tragedy occurred at a seafront four star adult-only hotel called Hotel Vibra District.

Just days before on August 17, another British tourist plunged to his death after suffering a brutal 15ft fall in Palmanova, near Majorca.

The tragedy took place after the 28-year-old had been on a night out and was staying at the four-star Reverence Mare Hotel.

His traumatised partner was treated with a panic attack later in the day.

The alarm was only raised at around 7 in the morning but it’s thought he fell to his several hours earlier.

Local cops think he suffered the fatal accident after trying to enter the wrong hotel home from partying and losing his way during an attempted shortcut.
