90 Day Fiance: Tigerlily Blindsided by Adnan’s Demands – Recap [S07E02]

On 90 Day Fiance, Tigerlily Taylor panics when Adnan Abdelfattah rattles off several surprises concerning their quickie wedding and future plans. Rayne feels rejected when Chidi Ikpeamaeze doesn’t want to share a bedroom. Brian Muniz lands in Brazil to meet Ingrid. And Faith welcomes Loren Allen to the Philippines. Let’s break it all down in this recap of Season 7, Episode 2 A Tale of Two Cities.

90 Day Fiance: Tigerlily Taylor Faces Reality in Jordan

New 90 Day Fiance bride-t0-be Tigerlily Taylor is over-packed and ready for her trip to Jordan to marry her fiance Adnan after speaking for just 4 months. It’s 3 AM in Texas and Tigerlily loads luggage into an SUV. She’s got several suitcases. Inside are three wedding dresses and 12 to 18 accessorized outfits for her 6 days in Jordan. Along for the ride are 2 members of her squad. Her hairdresser Cruz and his partner Shay. They have concerns that Tigerlily is “willy nilly” about marrying someone so quick.

But Tigerlily Taylor is gaga. Over in Jordan, Adnan Abdelfattah and his squad take part in a sort of Jordan style bachelor party. It includes a bath house and some guy talk even though he’s a virgin. He admits it’s been tough to stay that way since he’s a model and women stop him on the street to offer their digits up. He likes Tigerlily’s long hair, eyes and fashion sense. Even though he will be asking her to tone those  accessorized outfits down to conform to Muslim culture.

On 90 Day Fiance, Tigerlily Taylor finally lands in Jordan. While Adnan waits, she takes a page from the Darcey Silva playbook and washes up in the airport bathroom. She puts on the first of her outfits and teeters in heels to meet Adnan 45 minutes later. Sparks do fly but he does mention maybe fixing her outfit. They travel to the on-paper wedding ceremony and Adnan Abdelfattah casually suggests he wants 5 kids, and oh she will be meeting his mother. Tigerlily Taylor panics a little and suggests she’s got cold feet.

Rayne Feels Rejected on Before The 90 Days

Rayne prepares to travel to Nigeria on 90 Day Fiance. She fetches one of her chickens to keep her company while she packs. This particular hen’s name is Tippy. And she places a diaper on it. Rayne is convinced Chidi Ikpeamaeze is the man of her dreams. and she longs for the physical connection that comes with “making love”. Since the other men in her life have been nothing but disappointments in that way. She packs some beige Spanx knock-off looking panties with mesh sides. So Chidi can at least feel the texture.

She bids adieu to her kids and animal farm and heads to the airport. The flights are long but she finally lands at the famed Lagos airport. Where we first saw Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem meet. The airport looks the same, but the dream has since gone up in flames for Angela and Michael. Of course Chidi can’t see, so his brother-in-law will act as his eyes so he can meet Rayne. Even though she is the one that can see, she walks right by him.

Luckily his brother-in-law pulls her aside to let her know she’s missed him. He tells Chidi she’s before him and they hug and kiss. Chidi Ikpeamaeze exclaims more than once that she is “big” and not slender like she’d described herself but he’s thrilled nonetheless. On the ride to his family’s house where they will stay, Rayne rambles about chickens and a man peeing in the street. At the house she’s warmly received by his sister. But feels rejected when he shows her to a bedroom he won’t be sharing with her just yet.

New TLC Couple Brian and Ingrid Meet in Brazil

Brian Muniz is in route to Brazil to meet his love Ingrid on 90 Day Fiance. Meanwhile over in Brazil, we get Ingrid’s backstory. She’s a single mom of two sons. The oldest is 12 from her first marriage that ended in divorce. The second is almost 3. But his dad left Ingrid early in the pregnancy. She wipes tears away thinking about the struggles of those early days. But she met Brian online and now sees a light at the end of the tunnel.

There’s a few things that are a little blurry about Ingrid and Brian Muniz. She confides to a friend that while her mom knows about Brian and that he’s in a wheelchair, her dad doesn’t. Her friend suggests she was “looking for gringos” as a way to get her and the kids to the United States. Ingrid giggles and suggests she’s open to the idea. She puts on a black dress and heels and waits for Brian at the airport. Neither seems disappointed and they shed a few tears and engage in some PDA before heading off to a hotel.

90 Day Fiance: Faith Appreciates Loren Allen’s Acceptance

Faith is excited for Loren Allen to arrive in the Philippines. She admits she hasn’t had an easy time being accepted in her country as a “ladyboy”. Faith was born a boy named Rodnie. But knew from a young age she identified as a girl. She doesn’t take hormones and has elected not to have surgery. But lives and dresses as female. She lives in a hotel where she is the head of housekeeping. And has side hustles as a magician, a makeup artist and a puppeteer.

So, with Loren’s eccentric resume, these two seem like a 90 Day Fiance match made in heaven. Faith is straightforward and appreciative of her friends who accept her for her she is. And Loren Allen who she says she can laugh with. She doesn’t have to hide anything from him. They meet and Faith does a magic trick with a rose for Loren. But like Chidi Ikpeamaeze, she’s putting the brakes on any early intimacy. And Loren Allen needs to come clean with a few of his own secrets. Till next time!
