Everyone can see the nature scene dominated by tall leafy trees but only individuals with a super high IQ can solve the tricky illusion.

The picture may look simple – but lurking somewhere is an owl.

Are you able to work out where the bird lies in the image?

It might seem a bit daunting at first, but the key is to carefully examine each section of the scene.

Meanwhile, why not try some other optical illusions while you scroll?

Test your brain power and solve the questions in this test to reveal if you have a high IQ.

This picture will surely leave you baffled – and you might scratch your head trying to find the correct solution.

Although it may seem like an ordinary image, this is no easy feat, and the average person gives up after a minute.

If you look at the centre of the illusion very thoroughly you’ll spot a small brown creature nestled between the branches.

But it’s quite tricky to discern what exactly the brown is.

How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?

ENGAGING in activities like solving optical illusions and brainteasers can have many cognitive benefits as it can stimulate various brain regions.

Some benefits include:

  • Cognitive stimulation: Engaging in these activities challenges the brain, promoting mental agility and flexibility.
  • Problem-solving skills: Regular practice enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Memory improvement: These challenges often require memory recall and can contribute to better memory function.
  • Creativity: They encourage thinking outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thought processes.
  • Focus and attention: Working on optical illusions and brainteasers requires concentration, contributing to improved focus.
  • Stress relief: The enjoyable nature of these puzzles can act as a form of relaxation and stress relief

Perfectly blended into its surroundings is a tall Verreaux’s eagle-owl – also known as the milky eagle owl or giant eagle owl, perched comfortably on a tree.

Don’t panic if you didn’t spot it – the owl camouflaged perfectly into the imposing tree’s brown branches.

Henri Olckers, 36, from Caters News, is a photographer who has been photographing wildlife for over ten years.

He captured this impressive owl scene at Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Henri said of his pictures: “The Verreaux’s eagle owl is one of my favourite owls to photograph as it has gorgeous pink eyelids when closed.”

Psychologists at The University of Glasgow found that staring at an optical illusion can improve eye sight by allowing you to see small print.

Escape London says puzzles can also give your mind a great workout and may “boost your brain’s activity” which “reduces the risk of dementia.”

And according to ZenBusiness: “These visual puzzles can give you a good mental workout that can, in turn, help you think more efficiently and solve problems more easily.”
