Prophet David Isanga, supreme spiritual head of the Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness (UAFCR), has sounded a clarion call for Ugandans to reexamine their values and embrace righteousness.
Speaking at the 2nd Patriotic Youth Mega Gospel Crusade in Kaliro, eastern Uganda, Prophet David also known as Nabbi Daudi, lamented the persistence of corruption, theft, murder, adultery, defilement, and drunkenness in the country despite the strong religious affiliations of its leaders.
The dynamic spiritual leader questioned how individuals who regularly attend prayers and adhere to religious practices can still engage in vices, highlighting a disconnect between faith and actions.
He urged the youth to “reawaken from slumber” and make a U-turn towards righteousness to lead successful and prosperous lives.
Prophet David also cautioned against fake pastors exploiting vulnerable individuals by selling prayers and items in the name of God.
He emphasized that true salvation comes freely through Christ’s sacrifice, warning against “wolves in sheep’s clothes.”
Quickly making a disclaimer that his sermon was not targeting particular individuals or churches, Prophet Daudi wondered why some pastors coerce and dupe followers to buy the so-called ‘holy items like water, rice, handkerchiefs and mats yet the Bible advocates for spirit-filled giving.
Furthermore, he criticized the misallocation of funds meant for anti-poverty programs, suggesting that billions of shillings end up in the wrong pockets due to a departure from the true gospel of righteousness.
The crusade, themed “…Remember Your Creator in The Days of Your Youth Before Days of Evil Come…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1ff), aimed to inspire the youth to re-evaluate their priorities and seek a path of righteousness.
Prophet Daudi’s impassioned plea has resonated with many, sparking a national conversation about the need for moral revival in Uganda.
Because at UAFCR the key running message is righteousness, Prophet David pointed out that out of thousands of youth in prison, not a single member of the church is among the prisoners.
The man of God challenged parents/guardians to always get time to openly talk to their children on topical life issues like sex, alcohol, drugs, and reckless extravagant lifestyles.
“…our children have no peace at all, they want to be called celebs even when on the wrong paths, imagine slangs like tugende kwepicha, rich men in the waiting, team no fear, team no sleep…”, Prophet David said in rhetoric.
In a notable endorsement, President Yoweri Museveni praised Prophet David for his unwavering commitment to teaching and preaching the true Gospel with the correct interpretation.
The President’s recognition of Prophet David’s efforts underscores the significance of his message and the impact it has had on the country.
By promoting the true Gospel and warning against fake pastors, Prophet David has resonated with many Ugandans, including the country’s leader.
President Museveni’s endorsement of Prophet David’s teachings suggests a shared vision for a more righteous and prosperous Uganda.
As the country continues to grapple with corruption and immorality, the President’s support for Prophet David’s message serves as a beacon of hope for a better future.
The commendation from President Museveni is a call to unity and action for all Ugandans.
By embracing the true Gospel and working together, individuals and communities can create a more just and prosperous society.
Prophet David’s message has ignited a national conversation, and with the President’s support, it is poised to inspire meaningful change in Uganda.
In a related development, leaders from the Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness (UAFCR) lavished praise on Haji Faruk Kirunda, Deputy Presidential Press Secretary, for his exceptional character and leadership.
The church leaders hailed Haji Kirunda as a down-to-earth, humble, and non-segregative individual.
His recent return from Mecca was noted, and his role in coordinating with the President and the church to ensure the President’s attendance at the event was particularly commended.
Haji Kirunda’s efforts demonstrated his commitment to bridging gaps and fostering unity.
