After the 2021 population and housing census, Ghana’s population is recorded at 30.8 million.

Projections for 2050 suggest that there will be one million more women than men in the country

The Statistical Service forecasted a yearly increase of 711,706 people from 2021 to 2030, estimating the population to reach 37.24 million by the close of this decade.
