Businessman and politician Tabith Awal has been elected as the new president of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) beating AFM Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, a grassroot level organiser cum coach from Dinajpur District, by 23-5 votes in the BFF Election 2024The election was held at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday.Tabith Awal, also a former footballer, who was elected BFF vice president in 2012 and in 2016, ended the long 16-year four-term tenure of Kazi M Salahuddin, who quit the election this time.Earlier, Bashundhara Kings president Imrul Hasan, was elected senior vice president
