During a recent TikTok live, Ryan was asked if the situation with Gypsy ever affected his career, to which he told his followers, "I tell you what, in the 'Prison Confessions' documentary, I did lose a job being with Gypsy."
"Honest to God, it was a Christian school here in town and they felt like I broke the honor code by being with Gypsy," he added. "It was one of those where that was the reason I got let go."

Gypsy Rose Announced Split From Ryan Anderson
After her breakup with Ryan Anderson, Gypsy Rose Blanchard opened up about the challenges she faced toward the end of their relationship.
“I’d describe the Gypsy-Rose who went into prison as someone who was very lost and confused,” the 32-year-old told People Magazine. “Now she’s a little bit more wise, has a little bit more experience under her belt and is still very hopeful for the future.”
She continued, “I think that there is a sense of freedom of following your heart, following what you feel like is right for you. In my marriage [to Ryan], I felt like a part of me was lost in it, and so I feel like I found that missing piece of myself that I always felt was lost and now reclaiming that back. I definitely feel a sense of belonging in that space.”
“It’s heartbreaking because no one gets married to get a divorce,” the ex-convict continued. “Processing those emotions has been hard.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Announces She Is Pregnant
Months after Gypsy Rose and Ryan separated, she released a YouTube video announcing that she and her now-boyfriend, Ken Urker, are expecting.
“I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025," she said. "We're both very excited."
"This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," the 33-year-old added.
Gypsy Rose And Ken Rekindle Their Romance
Many Gypsy Rose Blanchard fans are familiar with Ryan Anderson, who was married to her when she was released on parole. However, after their split earlier this year, Gypsy has reignited her romance with Ken Urker, her former fiancé.
Ken and Gypsy first connected when he wrote her a letter of support after watching the HBO documentary "Mommy Dead and Dearest" back in 2017.
"I wrote him back and pretty soon we just started writing on a weekly basis," she told E! News in 2019. "We became fast friends. It was pretty soon after that that we started talking on the phone. We would spend hours on the phone. I talked to him like I had known him my whole life and vice versa."
Ken proposed to Gypsy, but he called it off not long after. The two have since reunited and are now dating again.
