The inscription on his certificate reads: “The longest cooking marathon (individual) is 802 hours 25 minutes and was achieved by Ebenezer Smith (Ghanaian) in Spintex, Accra, Ghana. From 1 February to 6 March, 2024.”
In an official response email from GHone TV, Guinness World Records debunked the claim, confirming that the individual holding the record for the longest cooking marathon is Alan Fisher of Ireland, who achieved a time of 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds in Matsue Shimane, Japan from September 28 to October 3, 2023.
