Father asks people not to vilify grieving ex-wife arrested for daughter’s death

Sandra Hernandez-Cazares and Juan Ruiz pushed for stricter DUI laws after their two young sons were fatally run over by a drunk driver in 2012. Now, Hernandez-Cazares is behind bars after the ‘severely intoxicated’ mother lost consciousness in her car with her daughter who died in the extreme heat. Ruiz says she was a good mom and would not have done this on purpose. Andrea Cavallier reports
