Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Rubbing Taylor Outrages Fans

Bold and the Beautiful had Ridge Forrester enjoy Taylor Hayes a little too much during a family reunion with their daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren on the CBS soap this week.

One fan asked if perhaps Ridge thought of Taylor as a genie in a bottle as he profusely rubbed her shoulders and leg. Fans suggest this guy takes liberties with boundaries when he is in a relationship.

And Ridge’s actions this week left viewers peeved after seeing this. For many fans, it is another example of double standards on the soap.

Bold and the Beautiful: Fury Over a Kiss But Ridge Forrester Skates Away

When Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) learned about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) planting a kiss on Finn, he became outraged.

But skip an episode or two forward, and he has hands all over his ex-wife. But Bold and the Beautiful treated his actions as if they were perfectly normal.

If Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) ever walked in while Ridge massaged his ex-wife’s leg, she would have the right to get her nose out of joint. Yet, the soap plays it one way for Ridge and the opposite for everyone else.

Then, when standing with Taylor Hayes during Tuesday’s party scenes, Ridge Forrester still rested his hand on Taylor’s shoulder. He also gave her a few light rubs. But he played it down from the day before, with Brooke now in the room.

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) sat there and took it all in. And yet, she and Ridge were up in arms over Hope’s kiss of betrayal. So, fans suggest double standards remain alive and well on Bold and the Beautiful.

B&B: Ridge and Taylor Hayes Jump On Hope Over Her Deed

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her parents jumped all over Hope last week. Both Taylor and Steffy accuse the Logan daughter of turning out like her mother.

But yet, because it’s her mom sitting there with her dad rubbing her leg, neither Steffy nor Finn blink an eye. Then, as they stood, Ridge Forrester couldn’t keep his hands off of Taylor Hayes yet, again on Bold and Beautiful.

He massaged her shoulders and hugged her. But in a way that if Brooke walked in, she’d likely be livid. Still, no one seemed to think this was out of the norm.

Bold and the Beautiful: What About Taylor?

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy and Taylor, go after Hope and her mother this week. And again, they will come down on the mother-daughter duo about the uninvited kiss Hope gave John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

What if Steffy walked in and Finn rubbed Hope’s leg or Ridge walked in and saw Brooke getting hands-on with an ex, like Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)?

Better yet, what if Steffy allowed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to comfort her in the way her father comforted Taylor and Finn saw it?

Bold and the Beautiful wouldn’t script these scenarios without creating a reaction of fury from their partners. But yet, no reaction bubbles up from the other characters as Ridge Forrester gets too handy with Taylor Hayes.

After Monday’s episode, Bold and the Beautiful viewers hopped on social media to point this out. Watching Ridge Forrester becoming too hands-on with Taylor Hayes when he’s committed to Brooke Logan didn’t sit well with viewers.

Fans didn’t buy the double standards that the CBS soap was selling.
