Colt Gray, a 14-year-old student, has been identified as the gunman responsible for a deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. The tragic event claimed the lives of four individuals, including two teachers and two students, and left nine others injured.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has identified Gray as the suspect. He has been charged with murder and will face trial as an adult. The GBI is coordinating with the district attorney to handle these charges and is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

Gray was taken into custody shortly after the shooting began, surrendering to school resource officers without further incident.

Emergency services were alerted to the situation at approximately 10:23 a.m., responding swiftly to reports of an active shooter on campus.
